Take the first step on the warrior path

Anxiety can seem like an all seeing and all knowing force that controls all your movement and thinking. It may seem impossible, but you have the strength within you to overcome the grip anxiety has on your life and become the best version of yourself. Your first step towards recovery and your inner warrior will not be easy. You will be tested unlike anything you could ever experience externally. With discipline, focus and a never quit attitude your transformation into a strong and confident person can start today.

I know all too well the hell anxiety can create in our mind. At our worst moments, it seems like the suffering will never end and that others don’t understand what our anxious mind is making us feel like. You aren’t alone. Over the course of 3 months, I overcame my panic disorder naturally. Once I made the commitment that I didn’t want to suffer any longer, I entered a path that would drastically improve my life. I still have my anxious moments, but I developed the skills required to master my inner self and not allow the fear to control me. These steps will help you in preparing for your journey to the new you:

*Accept the fact that the only person that can save you is yourself. You have the ability to overcome any challenge but you are going to have to stay committed and work hard at recovery

*Be honest and truthful in your relationships. Are you using anxiety to gain sympathy from others? Be open about your anxious mind with your loved ones. Make a pledge to them and to yourself that you will overcome your anxious mind

*Are you aware that anxiety is a normal and healthy defense system? Do you know about the parasympathetic and sympathetic nervous systems?

*When did you last write in your journal? What was the last thing you wrote that was positive about yourself?

The path to the new you is covered in thorns and brush now, but with sharpening your mind, you will clear the way to a better and more confident future
